While it is kind of tricky to prove these things anymore, we’re going to go out on a limb and suggest David Jones is the most widely read columnist who focuses on Penn State football and basketball.
His considerable reach comes via print (Harrisburg Patriot-News) and online (PennLive.com) outlets, as well as verified social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook.
Dave’s long-form (by today’s standards) style allows him to not only express strong opinions, but also explain them in great detail. Quite often they generate strong opinions from readers — sometimes positive, sometimes negative.
But whether or not you agree with him, you are going to know exactly where he stands. And more than likely, you are going to give some serious thought to where YOU stand.
I’ve known Dave on professional and personal levels for more than a quarter of a century now, so it made sense to get him involved with an early episode of the new FOS Penn State Podcast.
