Penn State QB Heckled By Pitt Hall Of Famer

After PSU's 42-39 loss to the Panthers, a Pitt legend heckled Nittany Lion Trace McSorley during his postgame interview. How did the quarterback react?

PITTSBURGH — Following Penn State's crushing 42-39 loss to rival Pitt here Saturday, Nittany Lion quarterback Trace McSorley was holding an interview session with reporters just outside of the PSU locker room.

All of a sudden, someone walking by began shouting, "Hail to Pitt!" over and over. McSorley paused to let the ruckus move past, and then resumed answering questions.

"You never want to let someone get under your skin,” he said a bit later, when asked about what had happened.

When asked if he realized who was chanting in the giant hallway, McSorley said he did not know.

Informed that it was Panther legend and Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett, McSorley smiled.

"Oh, was it?" McSorley said. "That's kind of cool."
