SPRINGDALE, Pa. — Clairton (Pa.) High five-star prospect Lamont Wade is considered one of the top cornerbacks in the nation. And if folks across the United States know that, well, you better believe teams in the Pittsburgh area really know it.
That explained why in Clairton's 32-0 thumping of Springdale Friday night, the Dynamos threw at Wade once (an incompletion).
But Wade still had a huge impact on the game. He rushed for better than 200 yards, and had TD carries of 93 and 41 yards. He completed a few passes. He punted. He kicked off. And looking on from the sideline for part of the game were Penn State head coach James Franklin and assistant Terry Smith.
