One of the top juniors in the state of Illinois is getting a lot of attention from the Penn State coaching staff. Three-star quarterback Quincy Patterson has been phenomenal for his Solorio High School football team through their first seven games. Patterson has completed 47 out of 87 passes for 776 yards, rushed 82 times for 987 yards, and has scored 26 total touchdowns so far this season.
Patterson was offered after camping at Penn State this past summer but has not had a chance to visit for a home game. According to Patterson, Penn State is showing him a lot of attention. "I probably hear from them (Penn State) more than any other school," said Patterson.
Patterson isn't sure of too many visits in the upcoming months due to the fact that his team will be playing in the post-season. Patterson also has offers from Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi State, New Mexico, Northwestern, and Syracuse.
