Penn State safety Marcus Allen has already made 57 tackles this season, which ranks second in the Big Ten.

The Nittany Lion junior is also known as one of the biggest hitters in the conference.

He put those skills to work in practice Wednesday, as PSU prepared to face No. 2 Ohio State at at Beaver Stadium Saturday night.

In the video above, you can check out Allen's big hit in Wednesday's practice. The Nittany Lion scout team appeared to have a big gain, but then Allen came in and prevented it. The knock was on redshirting freshman Danny Daulton, who was playing the part of Buckeye TE Marcus Baugh. Daulton popped up and ran back to the scout team huddle.
