Penn State commit Rob Martin talks about the recent success of the program. talked with 2017 offensive lineman commit Rob Martin to get his take on Penn State's season.

After going 2-2 in September with losses to Michigan and Pittsburgh, Penn State has reeled off five straight wins that included an upset over then No. 2 Ohio State.  Penn State, who sports a 7-2 record, is currently ranked No. 12 in the College Football Playoff rankings.  When this week's rankings come out, there's a possibility that Penn State will be in the top ten.  Penn State's success over the last several weeks has not gone unnoticed by recruits. Rob Martin, a three-star 2017 offensive lineman commit from New Jersey, was on hand this past weekend to watch Penn State roll over Iowa by a score of 41-14.
When asked about the expectations that he had for this year's team, Martin admits that the on-field product that Penn State has produced so far has exceeded his expectations.  "I knew Coach (James) Franklin (head coach) was going to build this program up.  I've waited patiently and trusted in him.  He has delivered a lot faster than I expected."
During his visit, Martin had a chance to interact with quarterbacks coach Ricky Rahne before the game.  Martin will be taking his official visit to Penn State on Jan. 22.
