PSU Men's Hockey Climbing National Polls

Penn State men's hockey continues to ascend the national polls thanks to the nation's longest unbeaten streak of 11 games.

With the nation's longest unbeaten streak of 11 games (10-0-1), the Penn State men's hockey team has reached the highest ranking for the program in the latest USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll at No. 6 and poll at No. 7.

The Nittany Lions jumped four positions in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, more than any other team, marking their fifth straight week in the Top 15, the longest streak in the program's short history. PSU moved up one spot in the poll.

PSU is currently the highest ranked Big Ten team in the poll with Ohio State at No. 10, Minnesota No. 11 and Michigan at No. 20. The Lions are also the highest Big Ten team ranked in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll with Minnesota at No. 9 and Ohio State at No. 11.

Next the Lions face Michigan at home on Thursday, December 1 at Pegula Ice Arena.
