Penn State finished off it's 2017 class with a bang to remain in the Top 15.

After a year of not finishing in the Scout Top 15 College Football Rankings, Penn State has returned with it's 2017 class.

Some late additions, including four-star cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields, helped ensure Penn State of it's first Top 15 finish in the Scout College Football Team Rankings since 2015.  The Nittany Lions will finish at No. 14 according to the latest team rankings.

Despite former Penn State commit Dylan Rivers flipping to Virginia Tech, the Nittany Lions were able to replace him with four-star linebacker Ellis Brooks (pictured below).

Head Coach James Franklin and his staff did a great job of closing out this class by nabbing both Corey Bolds (DT, 3-stars) and Tariq Castro-Fields (CB, 4-stars).

As the dust settles, FOS will begin to look at some of Penn State's most important targets in the 2018 class in the upcoming weeks.
