Nittany Lion wrestlers extend undefeated streak with a dominating performance over No. 11 Illinois

The No. 1 ranked Penn State wrestling team (12-0, 8-0 B1G) had another dominant performance helping the squad to remain undefeated this season. Against No. 11 Illinois (8-3, 5-3 B1G) the Lions rolled to a 34-7 victory, winning eight of ten bouts.

The Lions put on a show for the largest crowd of the season in Rec Hall, led by Zain Retherford pinning No. 19 Eric Barone aling with three major decisions and two technical falls in the match for PSU.

 Penn State boasts ranked competitors in nine of the ten weight classes with Zain Retherford (149) and Jason Nolf (157) both ranked No. 1.
