Penn State Wins B1G Regular Season Title

No. 1 Penn State wrestlers roll over Maryland to claim the 2017 Big Ten regular season dual title and extend their undefeated season to 13-0.

The No. 1 Nittany Lion wrestlers contined rolling over their season with another dominating performance, this time a home victory in front a sold out Rec Hall crowd. Penn State shell-shocked Maryland with a 45-6 blowout that saw the Nittany Lions grab five pins, a major decision and a technical fall.

The victory was the second of the weekend as PSU rolled over No. 11 Illinois with a 34-7 win. The win over Maryland advanced Penn State to 13-0 overall and 9-0 in the Big Ten. It was also the Blue and White's 30th consecutive dual meet victory. The last time Penn State lost a dual mee was nearly two years ago.
