The Penn State wrestling squad just won the 2016/2017 Big Ten dual title and now looks to go on the road to face No. 2 Oklahoma State for the 2017 NWCA Dual Championship Series title. This is the second consecutive years these two teams have faced each other in the event. PSU won last year in Rec Hall (pictured below).
The Nittany Lions, ranked No. 1 by Intermat's Tournament Power Index, currently have a 13-0 record and 9-0 B1G record. Oklahoma State has a 14-0 record and 6-0 Big 12 record. Penn State also currently has a streak of 30 consecutive dual victories dating back to 2015.
According to Cael Sanderson, "We are excited to be wrestling in the title event of the 2017 NWCA Dual Championship Series.
