With a score of 96.5 points, the Penn State women's track & field team clinched its fourth Big Ten Indoor Championship. This is the squad's first conference title since 2014 when the team both the indoor and outdoor championships.
The Nittany Lion men's track & field team placed second for the conference title, its highest final placement since third place finishes in both 2013 and 2014. This helped deliver the highest combined finish across the women's and men's teams in PSU track & field history.
The women's Big Ten title is the fifth conference championship this academic year for Penn State, along with football, field hockey, women's soccer and wrestling, which is good for the most conference championships for any Big Ten program so far this year.
This conference title also moves the Nittany Lions' total Big Ten Championships to 29 since 2012. This total is good for second place in the conference over that span, just one behind Michigan and four ahead of Ohio State.
