PENN STATE COMMIT MICAH PARSONS TAKES UNOFFICIAL TO PENN STATE LAST FRIDAY
The saga of Penn State commit Micah Parsons seemingly never sees a dull moment. Parsons took an unofficial visit to Penn State last Friday to talk with Head Coach James Franklin and the rest of the staff. Parsons is still committed to Penn State, but Ohio State and Georgia are the two other schools who have gotten serious attention from the five-star commit. Parsons has not changed his stance on wanting to take all of the unofficial and official visits that he can before Signing Day 2017. I spoke with the father of Parsons and he told me that he expects to go up to Penn State sometime next month and talk with Coach Franklin. Stay tuned.
MID-WEEK CLASS OF 2018 VISITORS
John Morgan, Ricky Slade, Bryce Effner and Judson Tallandier all visited Penn State this past Wednesday.
Morgan had this to say to Scout National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn:
"Just the atmosphere there is impeccable," he said. "It is school that no matter what, they are going to compete, as units on offense and defense, and then as a team. They have outstanding effort, and effort is one thing that you can't coach. So for them to give it without being told, was amazing."
Slade committed to Penn State on Feb. 3.
Tallandier currently does not have an offer from Penn State.
According to FOS recruiting analyst Patrick Loney, Bleich will be accompanied on this trip to Penn State with his uncle.
Rucci recently talked to Scout's Brian Dohn about what he's looking for in a school:
"Some coaches sell hard, which I like," said Rucci, who also plays basketball and lacrosse. "I'm just trying to figure out where I want to be as a person, player and student. I am trying to find the best academic and football school I can find."
Henderson committed to Oklahoma on Feb. 19.
