After finishing as one of the top wide receiver performers at the Nike Opening D.C. Regional Camp this past weekend, Scout Penn Preps had a chance to talk with St. Joseph's Prep standout Darryle Simmons about his upcoming plans.
On Penn State:
"I didn't get a chance to visit Penn State for the Blue-White Game. Our team (high school) had practice."
On his Nike Opening D.C. Regional Camp performance:
"I think I was able to showcase my ability to change direction, catch the ball and show my all-around talent."
On his upcoming visit plans:
On who stands out the most right now:
Cleezy's thoughts: Even though he has a laid back and reserved personality, Simmons' play speaks loudly. Simmons was one of the top wide receiver performers at the Nike Camp this past weekend. Simmons has not had a lot of contact with the staff as of late and he will have a better idea of where he stands with Penn State after his next visit to Happy Valley.
