The offer from Penn State is the ninth for Olmstead this month and the Class of 2019 offensive linemen felt honored to receive an offer from Penn State.
"It's a great feeling to be offered by a school (Penn State) that just won the Big Ten Championship this past season," said Olmstead. "I talk a lot with offensive lineman coach Matt Limegrover. They like how athletic I am for a big guy."
Olmstead has received most of his offers from the Big Ten Conference. As his recruitment continues to pick up even more steam, Olmstead made it known that he currently does not have any favorites. However, Penn State seems to be in good standing with the four-star offensive lineman.
"I don't have any 'dream' schools," said Olmstead. "But Penn State is a school that's high on my list. Most of the Big Ten schools (that have offered) are on my list."
Olmstead, who last visited Penn State back in April, has plans make a return trip to Happy Valley in the future.
"I don't know yet," said Olmstead when asked about the next time he'll visit Penn State. "I plan to make a trip up there sometime this summer."
