We've often wondered what would happen if Penn State held a football camp on a day when serious weather hit. Friday evening, we found out. http://www.scout.com/college/penn-state/story/1785528-psu-mini-camp-yiel...
For the first time in years, a PSU camp was hit with heavy showers. So James Franklin and company moved most of the action inside — to Holuba Hall (for most drills) and the Multi-Sport Facility across the street for the linemen. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to get to the second facility.
However, as camp continued, the weather eased up, and some of the action moved to Penn State's outdoor turf field near Holuba. As the linebackers and running backs drilled, something cool happened.
A rainbow appeared over Mount Nittany in the distance.
In the gallery above, you can see a photo of that and — of course — many of the prospects who were on hand.
