Ohio quarterback Anthony Turner received another scholarship offer from a team not previously mentioned. His list of favorites has changed. Who are his current favorites. Are the Nittany Lions in the mix? When will he decide?

Name: Anthony Turner
Position: QB
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 212 pounds
40-yard dash: 4.66
Hometown/School: Dayton, Oh. (Chaminade-Julienne HS)

When LionNews last spoke with Anthony, he said that he would be making his decision within a week or two. That was a couple of weeks ago. As of Tuesday evening, he was no closer to making a final decision.

"No, I get more and more options almost every other week, so I don't know what to do now," Turner said.

Minnesota offered him last Wednesday and has called him a this month.

"I am going to investigate [them], a lot."

Already, Anthony lists the Gophers in his top 3 along with Bowling Green and Iowa. It should be noted, however, that Anthony's top 3 lists have changed periodically in recent weeks.

"Next week, I'll probably have something new, I don't know."

West Virginia was in his top 3 earlier this month. What happened with the Mountainerrs?

"I don't know. I try to keep the list to three, but I don't know what to do. It's pretty hard."

Turner is still considering West Virginia along with Ball State.

The Nittany Lions have not spoken to him since about 3 or 4 weeks ago when, according to Anthony, Jay Paterno told him that he had an offer from Penn State.

"I haven't received it in writing yet. He (Jay Paterno) called the coach and I talked to him over the phone while I was in the coaches office. He said they were offering me a full ride."

Turner, who does not have one favorite team at this point in time, said that Penn State could get back into the picture if they made a concerted effort to do so.

As of right now, Anthony has no idea when he will be ready to make a final decision.

His team has won 3 straight games since their opening day loss, a game in which Turner could not throw the ball more than 10 yards due to an injured shoulder.

"It's getting a lot better. Last week, I could throw it 50, 60 yards."
