What schools have shown the most interest in you?

"Penn State, Georgetown, Ohio University and Fordham have shown the most consistent interest. Maryland stays in contact a lot and Wake Forest sends a lot of mail and has talked to me a couple of times. Maryland hasn't called lately so I don't know what their current situation is. I see they just received a commitment from the kid from Culpepper. Army and Navy and Lehigh call but not as consistently as the others.

Do you have any scholarship offers?

"Georgetown doesn't offer athletic scholarships but they do offer financial aid and they have pretty much said they want me. That's about the closest to an offer. A lot of schools are very close and are on the verge of offering. They'll set up official visit dates and then go from there.

How many visits have been scheduled?

"Just to Penn State on January 16 right now. Other colleges have said they want to set up visits but they haven't called yet since our season just ended. They wanted to wait until after our season ended."

When did Penn State first express interest?

"About 2 or 3 weeks ago. They said 5 fifth year seniors had decided to move on and that opened up 5 new slots. They said they wanted some corners and wide receivers and they were looking at me as both, more as an athlete. I've talked to Coach Larry Johnson 3 or 4 times and he has talked to my parents. He plans to visit my school with the defensive backs coach and have a house visit and come to talk to my parents.

"Coach Johnson told me they were real interested and that he liked my tape a lot. They have, I think he said, 5 scholarships open and they wanted 2 or 3 of those to be corners. They are recruiting 6 other guys at that position so they were going to take tape back and review it and pretty much put a list together and get a depth chart for who they wanted the most. "

Do you have a favorite?

"Not right now. I'm obviously excited about Penn State but I've never been to their campus so I have to check things out and see what is going on. All options are open."
