PA Kicker Makes a Decision

Tony Bernatos is a record setting kicker from Central Dauphin HS near Harrisburg, Pa. Tony made his decision on college today. Was Penn State the choice?

Central Dauphin kicker Tony Bernatos was scheduled to publicly announce his college of choice today at 3:30 pm at Nick Cantone's restaurant near Central Dauphin High School. Tony Bernatos will attend Penn State.

Tony, a lifelong Nittany Lion fan, will enroll at Penn State this fall and hope to pick up where he left off at Central Dauphin.

Tony is a record setting kicker. Tony holds four PIAA kicking records including most points in a season(101) and most points in a career(225). Tony converted 150 of 162 PAT's in high school as well as making 25 of 37 field goal attempts. Tony hit on four attempts from outside of 50 yards in high school with a long of 53 yards.

In addition to being named a U.S. Army East/West All American his senior year, Tony was named a Student Sports Junior All American, a chrissailerkicking.com national "Top 12" kicker, and a two time Pennsylvania all state kicker.

Tony is an excellent punter as well as being a kicker. Tony averaged 38 yards per punt during his prep career. Tony also throws the javelin for the Central Dauphin track team.
