"We're in the playoffs right now," Josh said. "We're 10-0. We're in the first round of the state playoffs. Hopefully, I have 3 more weeks left. We already finished the section playoffs, where we won 3 playoff games. Now we play the other section champion."
Josh took an official visit to Michigan State a week and a half ago, on November 3. He has also set up a couple of other official visits.
"I have one set up for Pitt, and one to Boston College. Pitt is January 5th I think. I'm not sure about the date for Boston College, but it will be sometime in December. It was going to be the 8th, but I have a banquet that day.
"The other visits will probably be to Syracuse and Wisconsin."
It seems as though Josh will not take an official visit to Penn State.
"I've been there for a couple of visits. It's like Syracuse, I might not go on an official visit there, due to the fact that I can drive there. I'd like to get out to a school that I really haven't seen yet. I haven't seen Maryland yet, so I might take an official visit there. It depends on my schedule."
He's taken unofficial visits to Penn State for the Junior Day on July 28 and the Miami game. Penn State is still maintaining contact with Josh.
"They still contact me, and write letters. They don't call every week. Coach Norwood writes a letter here and there.
"Michigan State, Boston College and Pitt call every week."
Those 3 teams are among Josh's favorites right now.
"Those three, plus I like Wisconsin, Syracuse and Maryland."
Penn State is noticeably absent from the list of top teams.
"It's not because of recruiting. It's probably just because I felt more comfortable at some other schools. I'm trying to narrow it down the best I can.
"They're not done, but I wouldn't say they're in the running as a top favorite."
