Thomas Clayton has already taken 2 official visits, one to Notre Dame on October 6, and another to Penn State on November 3. He has now reached a decision as to where he will be taking his remaining 3 official visits.
"I'm going to North Carolina this weekend, and I have Florida State on December 1," Thomas said.
He also has an official visit to Syracuse scheduled for November 24.
"We might have a playoff game that day. I'll discuss that with Syracuse, but as of now, it will more than likely have to be rescheduled, because we have a game that day.
"We'll be playing our first playoff game tomorrow night (Friday), against Yorktown. We only played 9 games, and we ended up 5-4. We have a pretty young team, but we still have some talent. That's what got us where we are. I think we've come together these last few games."
Does Notre Dame still lead "by a hair" over Penn State?
"I wouldn't say that. Right now, I'm just open, because I have 3 more official visits. No one really leads."
Thomas does not currently have any unofficial visits planned.
Is he planning any more unofficial visits to Notre Dame or Penn State?
"Not that I know of."
"I have the USA Army All-American Bowl game in San Antonio coming up. That'll really be fun. I get to play with Riggs, and play against Booker, so that sounds like fun. The west doesn't stand a chance."
Confidence is one characteristic that Thomas does not lack.
