Brian has an official visit set up for Michigan State this weekend.  He will be playing in the PIAA AAAA State Championship game this Saturday.  On Sunday, he's flying out to Michigan State for his visit, and will return on Tuesday.  He will also visit Michigan on January 11, Florida on January 18,  and Northwestern on January 20.

"The Northwestern visit is piggy-backed on the Florida visit," Brian said.  "That's all the official visits I have set up right now."

He will probably visit Boston College with his remaining official visit.

"We're in the process of setting that up right now."

Brian is still interested in a few schools besides the ones he will visit officially.

"There are definitely some other schools that have a chance.  Penn State still has a real good shot.  It's just that I'm just thinking it would be best to travel outside to places I haven't been able to see.  Penn State is still real high on my list, but I don't know if I'm going to take an official visit there or not.

"There are a couple of others, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech maybe too.  I pretty much eliminated Notre Dame though."

Penn State is actually one of Brian's favorite teams right now.

"It might be between Michigan, Penn State or Florida, between those 3."

Several coaches have been to Brian's home for visits recently.

"Tonight (Thursday), Michigan State was here, last night Boston College was here and the night before that, Georgia Tech was here.  Northwestern was here last week."

Has the Nittany Lion coaching staff made an appearance?

"Coach Bradley and Coach Kenney came to our school on Monday.  I think they're coming in next week, Tuesday night I think. I've talked to them both before at good length.  They really want me.  I'm still really interested in them.  They just let me know that I'm still up there on their list and that they haven't forgotten about me.  Steve (teammate Steve Breaston who is also being recruited by Penn State) talked to Coach Bradley most of the time and I talked to Coach Kenney.  I talked with Coach Bradley at the end."

Brian knows several Penn State players as a result of his many unofficial visits to Penn State, including Tyler Reed and E.Z. Smith, who were planning to attend one of Brian's playoff games on Thanksgiving weekend.

"They were going to come to the game, but they didn't made it.  They were out with Tyler's family.  I still talk to Tyler and a couple other guys [at Penn State]."

Brian also mentioned knowing Penn State freshmen Scott Paxson, Tom McHugh and Charles Rush.
