Levi is actually finished taking his official visits.
"I only had 2 set up, Virginia Tech and Penn State, and I'm not taking any more," Levi said.
Levi enjoyed his visits to both schools, although he said there was more to do during his Virginia Tech visit because it was during a football weekend. Levi attended the Hokies' game against the Miami Hurricanes. He also added that his visit to Penn State was at a time when most students were studying for finals.
Levi stated that he will decide between those schools, and that he does not favor one over the other. There have been some seemingly contradictory statements made by Levi recently regarding which team he favors.
"That's just me playing around with people," Levi admitted. "I don't have a favorite."
Coaches from both schools have visited the Brown's home in the past couple of days to court the star lineman.
"Coach Stinespring and Coach Beamer were here yesterday for about two and a half hours. Penn State coaches Bill Kenney and Larry Johnson just left about 10 minutes before you called. They were here a little less than an hour. They gave me some information on graduation rates."
Levi says that "academics and honesty" are the things he is looking for most from a prospective school.
Levi is being recruited as a DT by both Virginia Tech and Penn State. However, he said that he had been told by people "on the street" and "even some coaches" that one of the teams is really thinking about him playing on offense. Levi definitely wants to play on the defensive side of the ball. Both schools have said that they are recruiting him to play defense.
"I'm going to have to do my own research," he said. "I'm just trying to find out the truth."
The coaches at Virginia Tech have shown Levi the depth chart for the defensive line. He has not seen a depth chart yet from Penn State.
Levi was originally thinking that he would like to leave the state of Virginia, but that no longer seems to be a forgone conclusion.
"I was just thinking that I wanted to get away, but I've realized that Virginia Tech is not really all that close."
Location will not be a factor as both schools are approximately 5 hours from home.
A decision from Levi should not be expected real soon.
"It'll probably take a couple of weeks, maybe even a month," Levi said.
Levi plans to major in Computer Engineering and says that both schools offer "top notch" programs in his desired field of study.
