Kyle Brown missed most of his senior year as a result of a torn ACL, but is recovering well.
West Bloomfield was 2-1 when Kyle went down with his injury, but finished the season 4-5. When healthy, Kyle played several positions including RB, QB, WR and CB.
Kyle has alread taken official visits to Purdue, Southern Cal, Michigan State and Oklahoma.
Less than a month ago, Kyle was still being recruited hard by Penn State's Coach Vanderlinden, and was considering returning to State College on an official visit. Kyle has already been to Penn State this year for a Junior Day in February and enjoyed his visit.
Has Kyle scheduled his 5th official visit?
"Not yet," Kyle said when interviewed last Thursday night, prior to the holidays. "I may, I may not."
To which schools is Kyle contemplating taking an official visit?
"I'm thinking about visiting one of the Florida schools, or possibly Ohio State."
Last time, he mentioned Georgia Tech and Penn State as possibilites, but it seems as though neither is high on his list at this time.
"Georgia Tech just lost their head coach, and I'm really not interested in Penn State."
Ohio State is still in contact with Kyle "a little bit". He receives little more than occasional mail from the Florida schools.
Does Kyle have a leader?
"It's pretty even. I probably won't make a decision until after New Year's maybe, because most of the coaches want to come in and visit my parents."
Kyle seems to have enjoyed each of his 4 official visits.
"I liked USC's visit because it was L.A.. It was fun to hang out with the players. State was cool. Oklahoma was cool, but there weren't that many people on campus because I went during finals week. They said it's much better down there when there are more people there.
"USC is far. It was a good visit. I had never been to California before. I like it, but it may be too far."
