OL Shakes Up Visit Schedule

Brian Borgoyn is an extremely talented offensive lineman from Pittsburgh, PA. He has changed his official visit schedule once again. Who is his favorite team?

Name: Brian Borgoyn
Position: OT
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 290 pounds
40-yard dash: 5.0 seconds
Bench Press: 320 pounds
School: Woodland Hills High School, Pittsburgh, PA
Offers: around 30

Brian moved his official visit to Florida from the middle of January to December 14.

"It was pretty good," Brian said.  "It wasn't a real busy weekend because everyone had just gotten off from school for the holidays.  But, it was a good visit with nice, warm weather and a good coaching staff too."

Brian already took an official visit to Michigan State on December 9.  Brian will take 3 more official visits in January.

"I think I'm going to Stanford, Northwestern and then to Penn State."

The Stanford visit will be on January 5th, the Northwestern visit will be on the 11th and the visit to Penn State is set up for the 18th.  As of a couple of weeks ago, Brian was not planning to take an official visit to State College because of his many unofficial visits to the Penn State campus.  Obviously, that has changed.

"I changed my mind a little bit, I think just so my parents could get a better look at the school.  They haven't been there.  This way they can actually get to see one of the schools I'm visiting."

Brian will not be taking an official visit to Michigan as originally planned.

"I'm canceling that visit.  They signed too many offensive linemen."

Previously, Brian listed Michigan and Penn State as his favorites.  Does the cancelled visit to Michigan and the recently scheduled visit to Penn State mean that the Nittany Lions are his current favorite?

"They're kind of my favorite now.  They're a little bit above the rest of the field, but not like a clear-cut favorite..  I like the proximity and the opportunity to play relatively early."

Coach Tom Bradley is recruiting Brian for Penn State as an offensive tackle.

"They're kind of skimpy up front, so I kind of fit in there.  They told me that they're probably going to redshirt me.  I'll have a chance to play, if not my redshirt freshman year, then by my sophomore year."
