At her press conference Tuesday, Portland addressed what she thinks the team needs to work on at this point in the season. I dont like the way we play on the road, she said. We got bit by it again this past week (against Northwestern), and I brought it to their attention today that thats something the NCAA committee is going to look at. So, as we head down this final stretch here, that has prime-time importance.
In two of the last three games, Wright and Strom alone have outscored the Lady Lions opponent in the second half.
Penn State is 5-0 when Strom has eight or more assists. The Lady Lions are 5-6 when she has less than eight assists.
