In fact, Scott's career with the Penn State football program has not accelerated at the pace he hoped for when he signed with the Lions following an incredible senior season at Parkland High near Allentown, Pa. So following the 2004 campaign, Scott rededicated himself to a successful lifestyle, dropping the extra weight and taking a more serious approach to his classwork. Despite missing most of spring practice with a broken ankle, he kept the weight off, and at Penn State football Media Day checked in at 205 again.
