Scott Ready for MNF

Former Penn State defensive back Bryan Scott is about to begin his third season with the Atlanta Falcons. Now a starting safety, Scott is excited for the season-opener, against NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles in Monday Night Football.

The game has special meaning for Bryan Scott for a couple of reasons. First, the Eagles beat the Falcons in NFC title tilt last year; Second, Scott is a native of the Philadelphia area.

The Falcons closed out the exhibition campaign Sept. 1 with a 20-17 win at Miami, a game in which Atlanta fielded its projected starting defense for the first time in the preseason.
