Class of 2006 Rundown

Get the lowdown on how Penn State's Class of 2006 prospects are faring on the gridiron during their senior campaigns. So far, the overall record for these future Nittany Lions is very impressive.

Doug Klopacz

Klopacz's St. Joseph's team moved to 2-0 on the year with a 35-0 shutout of Teaneck. He has seen a majority of his snaps at tight end and though he has no catches through the first two games he has been instrumental in establishing a running game that has eight touchdowns with an average of 6.9 yards per carry. Next, St. Joe's will face Hackensack.

Alim "Abe" Koroma

The defensive tackle was instrumental in limiting Annville-Cleona to one touchdown in a 35-7 win this past weekend. Koroma spent the better part the game facing double teams, which opened up his counterpart at defensive tackle, Dontey Blakey, to penetrate the pocket. Next up the Spartans face Trinity.

Tom McEowen

McEowen was named Player of the Game and led Neshaminy to a shutout of Central Bucks South 48-0. In the process the defensive tackle pulled down four tackles (two for loss) and a sack. Through the first three games in 2005, He has totaled 24 tackles with seven tackles for loss. He also saw action at offensive tackle where he is called "a key ingredient to the success of the Redskin offense." Next Neshaminy faces Abington.

Ollie Ogbu

Ogbu's Millford Academy had a bye this past weekend.

Brett Brackett

Brackett opened his season with a 13-for-20 (65 percent), 242-yard and four-touchdown performance to lead his Cardinal squad to a 42-19 win over Princeton. His performance included a 22-yard touchdown pass and a 55-yard run off a quarterback draw.
