UW: FOS Player of the Week

The Nittany Lions made yet another statement with a dominating 35-14 win over Wisconsin. Despite the Badgers having their Big Ten MVP candidate Brian Calhoun leading the charge, the PSU defense shut him down, containing him to a mere 38 yards on 20 carries (1.9 YPC) with a long of eight yards. Penn State closed out an undefeated season at home with the domination of Wisconsin. There were several heroes in this game for the Nittany Lions. Here are the FOS Player of the Game candidates — vote on our message board.

Deon Butler

Five receptions for 125 yards (25 YPC), two touchdowns.

Tamba Hali

Nine tackles (three unassisted, seven for loss) and four sacks, facing double teams throughout the game.

Tony Hunt

24 carries 151 yards (6.3 YPC) and two touchdowns, two recptions for 35 yards (17.5 YPC).

Paul Posluszny

12 tackles (five unassisted, five for loss), one sack.

Michael Robinson

13 for 28 (46%) for 238 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions and one sack and 16 carries 125 yards (7.8 YPC) no touchdowns.
