The Final Two...

Defensive End Mauice Evans has narrowed his choices to two. Where do the Nittany Lions stand? See what Evans had to say about his final two choices and his upcoming decision on where he will head.

Maurice Evans has a few dozen scholarship offers but he's narrowed things down to a pair. "I'm down to Penn State and Virginia, those are my final two," he said. "I'm going to Penn State this weekend. If I feel comfortable on the visit, I could go ahead and make a commitment."

Evans, a 4-star prospect as rated by, talked about the adjustment he's going to have to make for college life. "As far as things I need to work on at the next level, just gotta step my game up," he said. "College is different than high school. I gotta get stronger and faster. I don't want to redshirt if I don't have to but if they tell me to, I don't have a problem with that."

Evans, who will be accompanied by his parents on his trip to State College this weekend, spoke about what factors will go into his final decision. "Wherever I choose, it has to be a place I feel comfortable," he said.

The talented defensive end, who will compete in the Army All-American Game on January 7, is scheduled to visit Virginia the following weekend. If he doesn't commit on his visit this weekend, look for a decision after his UVA trip.
