Posluszny, Brown to Announce Decisions

The Nittany Lion juniors are holding a joint press conference at Beaver Stadium Friday. Will they stay at Penn State or join the long list of college underclassmen declaring for the NFL Draft? FightOnState.com will be there to let you know as soon as they make it official.

Penn State junior standouts Paul Posluszny and Levi Brown will address their future plans in football at a press conference at Beaver Stadium Friday at 2 p.m..

Posluszny, a linebacker, is the 2005 Butkus Award winner and a consensus All-American. He was knocked out of the Lions' 26-23 Orange Bowl victory over Florida State Jan. 3 with a knee injury. The slight ligament tears will take six to eight weeks to heal but will not require surgery.

Brown, a tackle, is a first-team All-Big Ten pick and second-team All-American. He is the only starting offensive lineman from the 2005 Nittany Lions with eligibility remaining.

A source close to the program said both players have indicated they will return for their respective senior seasons.
