Corcoran Still Committed?

Things are heating up for Jack Corcoran. After running for 925 yards and scoring 29 TDs at St. Joseph High in Hammonton, N.J., in 2005, he attracted the attention of numerous Division I schools. At the end of December, he seemingly ended his recruitment with a commitment to Rutgers. However, he decided to take one more visit. This past weekend, Corcoran checked out Penn State.

So after visiting the Big Ten champions, what is the status of Jack Corcoran's commitment?

"I am still committed to Rutgers and I am standing firm on the commiment,” he said. However, he added, "I just got back from the visit and I need to discuss the visit with my parent.”. He went on to say "things might change but I doubt it.”

On his Penn State visit, he was hosted by another South Jersey product -- Dennis Landolt. The two had a good time during the visit. Corcoran had the opportunity to tour the campus along with meet with the players and coaches. Corcoran rated the visit an eight out of 10.

Penn State is not the only school contacting Corcoran. Virginia has also entered the picture. The ACC school has asked Corcoran to take an official visit. However, Corcoran stated that he does not intend on taking any additional visits.
