Notes: This game features the three players in the mix for Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors Cornley, and Purdue rookie guards Korey Spates (10.9 ppg) and Chris Lutz (10.7 ppg). Spates and Lutz will both come off the bench today. Boilermaker swingman Nate Minnoy also ranked among the league's best freshmen before tearing an ACL in the 12th game of the season. Look out for Boilermaker reserve forward Marcus White, a transfer from UConn who just became eligible this semester. The 6-8, 215-pounder had 17 points in Purdue's 72-55 win over Minnesota Saturday. Penn State is by far the Big Ten's youngest team. Underclassmen are accounting for 58 percent of the team scoring, 53 percent of the rebounds and 53 percent of the steals.
