Update: Devlin's PSU Visit

The Nittany Lions are hosting Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year Pat Devlin along with his mom and dad. Get an update on his visit along with some photos of him at the Penn State-Ohio State basketball game on Saturday.

Athough Pat Devlin was not escorted in front of the student section as he entered the Bryce Jordan Center to see Penn State clash with Ohio State on the hardwood, the students realized he was there. In chorus the student section broke out chanting "Pat-rick Dev-lin" as a clear PSU welcome for the Scout four star quarterback.

Accompanied with his mom and dad, Devlin sat with quarterback coach Jay Paterno initially and then was joined by wide receiver coach and recruiting coordinator Mike McQueary.

Devlin and his parents took in the first half of the game and remained for the second half. He will also take time to tour the facilties (lockerrooms, film rooms, weight rooms, etc.) and sit down with the coaches to discuss everything from the offensive scheme and incoming talent to the depth chart in coming years.

Although originally committed to the Miami Hurricanes, Devlin is considering both Penn State and Virginia before he makes his final decision.

Late in the basketball game, the PSU student section began chanting, "We Want Devlin." He eventually stood up and waved, and the crowd went crazy.
