Double Dip: Taylor to PSU, Too

Nittany Lions get another huge lineman from Maryland, their second in a matter of minutes.

Moment after Antono Logan-El announced for Penn State at the ESPN Zone in Baltimore, fellow Maryland product Phillip Taylor did the same thing.

Taylor, a 6-foot-4, 340-pounder, told a crowd of reporters that he was going to become a Nittany Lion.

Taylor is a product of Gwynn Park High in Brandywine, Md. Like Logan-El, he had narrowed his list to Penn State and Maryland.

Taylor is the seventh player from the state of Maryland to announce for the Lions this year and the 23rd member of the Class of 2006.

We will have more shortly.
