• Penn State once again finds itself in the middle of the Mike Davis circus, this time as the embattled coach returns to Assembly Hall for the first time since announcing his resignation effective at the end of the season. “If I know Indiana fans, it will be a great atmosphere,” DeChellis said. “They'll cheer for their players and cheer for their coaches.”

• The Lions have been living and dying by the 3 this year - from a defensive standpoint. In league play, PSU is 5-1 when holding opponents to 35.3 percent or less from the arc and 0-7 when opponents top that mark.

• A big reason for that is because State plays so much zone. In league play, PSU has allowed a staggering 345 3-point tries (128 makes). No other team has allowed more than 274 tries (Iowa) or 101 makes (Michigan).

• On the quick turnaround since playing IU last, DeChellis said, “You both know about each other, there are no secrets. It's an easy prep. These guys still know everything about Indiana.”

FOS Prediction: Indiana 72, Penn State 68

Comment: The Hoosiers are making 40 percent of their 3-pointers in Big Ten home games, which mean's Penn State's Achilles' heel will be vulnerable tonight.

FOS Record: 21-3.
