Jr. Update: Broderick Green

It didn't take long for Broderick Green to get used to his new surroundings this past football season. The 6-foot-1, 230-pound, running back, from Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, Ark., transferred from nearby Robinson High School. Green had a fabulous junior season and now the offers have started to roll in from around the country. Learn about his favorites and where Penn State stands.

"I think I have about 10 scholarship offers." Broderick Green said.

"USC, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Arkansas, Kansas State, Kansas, Michigan State, Auburn, Oklahoma Sate and Georgia Tech have all offered.

"My favorites right now are USC, Penn State, Kansas State, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Auburn and Arkansas. I don't have a clear-cut leader right now.

"I grew up liking Arkansas but everything is even right now. I really wasn't a big college football fan growing up. I haven't been to any junior days and I haven't given too much thought into summer camps at this point."

Green rushed for 1,654 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns as a junior. He also had five receiving touchdowns. Broderick was an all-state selection.

With so many schools offering a scholarship early in the process, has Green thought about when he'd like to end his recruitment?

"I still don't know yet about that," Green explained. "Right now, I'm leaning towards playing my senior season and I'll take some visits after that. I've also thought about graduating early so I could play spring ball with the school that I sign with but right now my plan is to graduate next May."

Broderick Green carries a 2.5 core GPA in the classroom and plans on taking the ACT in April.
