PSU Offer Update: Chris Colasanti

Chris Colasanti is already considered one of the top linebacker prospects in the Midwest region. At 6-foot-2, 230 pounds he has already attracted attention from a wide array of top programs, which now includes Penn State, who just tossed their hat into Colasanti's recruiting ring with an offer.

Penn State offered Chris Colasanti, one of the top linebacker prospects, in the Midwest, a scholarship today. The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder, from Brother Rice high in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., was given the news by Lions assistant coach Ron Vanderlinden.

Colasanti has offers from several schools. His favorites are Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Boston College, Stanford and Notre Dame.

The Fighting Irish are the only favorite of Colasanti's that haven't offered a scholarship yet and Chris hopes to change that this summer when he camps in South Bend.

As a junior, Colasanti had 153 tackles and four sacks. He was named all-state. If you want to get a look at Colasanti on film, be sure and check out his player page.
