Ohio DL High on PSU

Upper Arlington, Ohio defensive lineman Joey D'Andrea visited Penn State two weekends ago and came away very impressed. Catch his thoughts on the Lions and his overall recruitment process.

"The coaching and training staffs were very impressive," D'Andrea said. "Joe Paterno is one of the nicest gentlemen I have met. Coach Paterno invited me back anyday that I would like to visit the campus. He has also sent me a handwritten letter."

After the impressive visit, it seems as though Penn State has found its way to the top of the list for D'Andrea.

"As of today Penn State is at the top of the list with Michigan, Ohio State and Notre Dame," he said. "I'm also getting hand written letters from Boston College, Northwestern, and Maryland."

D'Andrea will participate in the Scout.Com All-American Combine at the University of Louisville on May 20.
