Nittany Lions Give Big Offer to Little

The Nittany Lions threw their hat into the recruiting ring with Greg Little by extending him an offer this past Wednesday. Find out how the Penn State offer will impact Little's recruiting process and what his thoughts are on the Lions.

Following up last week's scholarship offers from Oklahoma and Georgia, Greg Little was extended an offer from Penn State Wednesday.

"I was talking to my head football coach earlier today and he told me he had some good news for me," said Little. "He said Penn State just offered and they would be stopping by Monday to talk to me."

In addition to the Sooners, Bulldogs, and Nittany Lions, Little claims offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, East Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi, NC State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wake Forest.

Earlier in the week Little had narrowed that list of options down to seven schools, but with his newest additions, he has since decided to open things back up again.

"Basically, I think I'm going back to everything opening up," said Little. "I thought schools were done offering. I'll go back and revise things once all offers have been made."

During Scout.com's All-American Combine Little recorded a 40-inch vertical jump and a 10'1" broad jump, while also being among the more dominating wide outs during one-on-one passing drills.

In his junior season at Durham (N.C.) Hillside, Little mostly played tailback where he rushed 160 times for 1,166 yards and 26 touchdowns. During reps at wide out, he caught 23 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns. In limited action on defense, Little picked off four passes.
