Another NFL Visit for A.Z.

With Alan Zemaitis visiting a variety of NFL teams already, including the Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the former Penn State cornerback is now making one more team stop before the draft kicks off this weekend.

Along with the Ravens, Buccaneers, Vikings and Redskins, the Indianapolis Colts are showing interest in Alan Zemaitis and are having him visit with the team and staff this week. In particular, the Colts are looking to clarify their assessment of how exactly he could fit into their program and defensive scheme.

From what we're hearing on Zemaitis, he may last until early in the second round. So, if the Colts want to trade down a few slots in exchange for a fourth-round pick, which they are missing in this draft, they could still land a talented corner and add a selection.

At 6-foot-1, 194 pounds, Zemaitis is bigger than the typical cornerback, but still moves and covers as well as those smaller, pesky cornerbacks. The defensive captain of the stout Nittany Lions defense, Zemaitis is bright, makes consistent reads and rarely gets fooled by receivers or by opposing quarterbacks.
