Penn State's A.Q. Shipley may be a redshirt sophomore who has never started a game. But he is still being viewed as a leader on the Nittany Lions' rebuilt offensive line, which must replace four of five starters from 2005.
And that's just fine with Shipley
, a powerful 6-foot-1, 297-pounder who is set to start at center after the spending the second half of last season at defensive tackle.
Shipley took a few minutes to talk to FightOnState.com at the Life For Life Challenge last week. He addressed the development of the line, a former Lion who is helping him to refine his technique, why he's growing out his hair for the first time in his PSU career and much more.
