Wisniewski Plans PSU Visit

Pennsylvanian offensive lineman Stefan Wisniewski has his list down to the final four and is planning on making some official visits. Get an update on his plans around recruiting and enrolling.

The recruiting process has advanced rather quickly for Pittsburgh Central Catholic O-lineman Stefan Wisniewski, with the big man settling on a top four by mid-summer. He reiterated his finalists to GoBlueWolverine: "It's Michigan, Penn State, BC (Boston College) and North Carolina."

Wisniewski had made plans to gradutate in December and enter school in January, so he'd wanted to make his official visits in the fall. Is that still the case?

"I still intend to make my official visits in the fall. Plans aren't final yet (he'll work those out when coaches can call on Sept 1st.) but I have dates picked out. It's North Carolina on the weekend of Sept. 9, and BC the next weekend, September 16th. Penn State will be the weekend of the Michigan game (October 14th). And I'll visit Michigan the weekend of the Michigan State game (October 7th)."

Does he had a favorite going into the visits? "Nah, the official visits will tell the story for me."

And is he still on track to graduate in December? "No. That has changed. I've found out I don't have enough credits to graduate early from Central Catholic. So I'll graduate in the spring with my class."

Wisniewski is a strong student with a 1270 SAT score under his belt.

One final thing: U-M fans keep in the backs of their minds that Stefan's father played defensive line for Penn State ... still, Stefan truly seems to have an open mind about where he will attend college.
