Weekend Fun with FOS

Meet Bob Lichtenfels and members of the FOS Staff, hang out with us up at the stadium or downtown at Old State (with the Hooters' girls) and get your Whiteout T-Shirt as our FightOnState.com Community events kick into high gear. Make FOS part of your Michigan weekend festivities!

Penn State football games may be played on Saturdays. But at FightOnState.com, Nittany Lion gridiron action is at the center of attention 24/7. And things really heat up on home Fridays, with a couple of FOS Community events.

On Friday evening, the fun really kicks into high gear during FightOnState.com Happy Hour at the Lion's Den at 118 South Garner Street downtown. FOS Happies run from 6-8 p.m. (and sometimes beyond). This week, several staffers will be on hand to talk Penn State football and more.

What better way to prepare for the "Rally in the Valley at Rec Hall (it starts at 8:30 p.m.) than by enjoying happies at The Den.

Recently remodeled, The Lion's Den has numerous flat screen TVs to keep track of all of the latest sporting events, as well as terrific drink and food specials.

On Saturday FOS will be outside of the Spikes' stadium from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. We expect to be set up across the street from Paternoville (Gate A). Stop by and say hi.

We will also be downtown at Old State Clothing (310 E. College Ave.) from 4 to 6 p.m. The Hooters' girls will be on hand and we will have wings to give to fans.

Scout.com recruiting expert and FOS contributor Bob Lichtenfels is expected to be at Old State roughly from 4-5 p.m., and then at our event with at the Spikes' stadium from about 5:15-6:30 p.m. He will hand out Scout.com recruiting guides (while supplies last).

And if you are in town this weekend, do not forget to pick up your Official FightOnState.com Whiteout T-Shirt. They are now available exclusively at Old State on Campus at the Visitors' Center near Beaver Stadium. There is a limited supply, so be sure to pick up yours for the stadium-wide Whiteout that has been declared for this week's game.

These shirts are roomy, so much so that you can easily slip them on over a couple of sweatshirts.

Net proceeds from the FightOnState.com Whiteout T-Shirts go to the Nittany Lion football team's Lift For Life Charity and its fight against kidney cancer. So show your school pride and support a good cause by buying a shirt.

So if you are in Happy Valley this weekend, make sure to stop by and see us at some point. Or stop by and say hello at all of our events. You are part of the FightOnState.com Community, and we look forward to meeting you in person.
