Latham Enjoys Official Visit

Greensboro, N.C., defensive end Kevion Latham took his official visit to Penn State this weekend. He saw what 110,000 others saw when the Nittany Lions welcomed Michigan on Saturday. PSU lost the showdown, but Latham still came away impressed.

“The visit went real good,” Kevion Latham said. “I had been to Penn State before on some unofficial visits so I've seen it before, but this time I could go around with my family and show everyone around. The atmosphere was crazy during the game. I had never seen 110,000 people at a game before so that was very impressive.”

During the visit, Latham spent some time with a few other recruits visiting PSU for the game.

“I hung out with Derrick Morgan a lot and I spoke to Trinton Sturdivant and Quinn Barham also,” Latham said. “Derrick and I hung out a lot though, he is a great guy. We didn't really even talk about schools or anything, just general stuff.”

Latham, who committed to PSU in July, was excited about the visit but he does also plan on taking a few other visits to see some other schools.

“I am still a solid commitment to Penn State but I am going to go see some other schools just to see what they are like,” Latham said. “I am going to visit Georgia Tech on Oct. 28. I am also going to be going to see Oregon and Cal maybe later in the year, but I haven't decided on that yet.”

Latham is having success through seven games at Page High this season. He has rung up 14.5 sacks and 55 tackles.
