Wisniewski Picks the Lions

The Penn State football program had not landed a verbal commitment since mid-August. But a huge get Saturday brought to mind the old saying, good things come to those who wait, as Scout.com four-star prospect and U.S. Army All-American Stefen Wisniewski picked the Lions over Boston College.

Stefen Wisniewski, a guard prospect from Central Catholic High in Pittsburgh, called the Penn State staff with the news Saturday night.

“Stef just committed this evening,” his father, Leo Wisniewski, said. “He called Tom Bradley and Coach [Joe] Paterno called back to congratulate Stefen.”

We will have more on this story shortly.
