With Shrine Bowl occuring this week, Penn State class of 2007 member Quinn Barham talks about his pursuit of Tydreke Powell to join him in Happy Valley. See what Barham had to say on the topic in this report from Shrine Bowl practice.
Future Nittany Lion Quinn Barham
has been practicing all week for this weekend's Shrine Bowl game, matching up the North and South Carolina
high school all stars.
The practices this week have not been all about drills though. In fact, Barham has been going after two guys on his North Carolina squad hard - Tydreke Powell and Desmond Roberts.
"I'm trying to get Tydreke Powell and Desmond Roberts. Desmond, he's committed to NC State, but he is going to visit [Penn State] and me and Kevion Latham are working him," Barham said.
In terms of Powell, he explained, "Tydreke, he's really feeling Penn State now. I feel good how we stand with them, and I think we've got Tydreke already."
