FOS Week 15 NFL Report

Get the lowdown on how the former Nittany Lions did in the professional ranks over the weekend. PSU tight ends were all the rage in the league, three Lions played well for Cincy in a loss and Gould's terrific season continued.

Bryant Johnson, WR, Arizona

Johnson caught 2 passes for 33 yards in the Cardinals' 37-20 loss to the Broncos. Arizona is 4-10 on the season.

David Macklin, CB, Arizona

Macklin had 4 tackles in a 37-20 loss to Denver that dropped the Cardinals' record to 4-10 on the year.

John Gilmore, TE, Chicago

Gilmore caught 1 pass for 18 yards and had a tackle on special teams as the Bears squeaked out an overtime win against the Buccaneers. Chicago improved to 12-2 and clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Robbie Gould, K, Chicago

Gould connected on 2 of 3 field goals, the miss coming on a 37-yard attempt at the beginning of overtime. He was able to redeem himself, however, when he hit the game-winner with just under four minutes to go from 25 yards out. He also connected on 4 of 4 extra points as the Bears improved to 12-2 and clinched home field in the NFC. Gould was named to the Pro Bowl this week.

Ethan Kilmer, S, Cincinnati

Kilmer had 2 tackles on special teams and forced a fumble on a punt in a 34-16 loss to Indianapolis that dropped Cincinnati to 8-6. The Bengals control their own destiny in the AFC wild card picture.

Tony Stewart, TE, Cincinnati

Stewart had 1 tackle on special teams to go along with a recovery on a forced fumble by Kilmer. The Bengals lost to the Colts, however, 34-16, and fell to 8-6.

Kenny Watson, RB, Cincinnati

Watson carried 4 times for 30 yards and led the Bengals with 3 catches for 56 yards in a 34-16 loss to Indianapolis on Monday night. Cincinnati is 8-6 on the season after the win.

Joe Jurevicius, WR, Cleveland

Jurevicius caught 5 passes for 46 yards and a touchdown as the Browns fell to the Ravens, 27-17, and saw their record fall to 4-10 on the season.

Marco Rivera, G, Dallas

Rivera and the Cowboys beat Atlanta on Saturday night, 38-28. The Cowboys are in first place in the NFC East with a record of 9-5.

Courtney Brown, DE, Denver

Brown will miss the rest of the season after undergoing yet another knee surgery in early October.

Eddie Drummond, WR, Detroit

Drummond returned 4 kickoffs for 68 yards and 4 punts for 22 yards in the Lions' 17-9 loss to Green Bay. Detroit is 2-12 after the defeat.

Tyoka Jackson, DT, Detroit

Jackson had 3 tackles in a 17-9 loss to the Packers. Detroit is now 2-12 on the year.

Kyle Brady, TE, Jacksonville

Brady had 1 catch for 13 yards as the Jaguars fell to the Titans, 24-17. Jacksonville is 8-6 and is still very much in the AFC playoff hunt.

Tamba Hali, DE, Kansas City

Hali had 2 tackles, including 1 sack, and snagged his first career interception off of a tipped pass in a 20-9 loss to San Diego. The Chiefs are 7-7 and still in the mix for the wild card.

Larry Johnson, RB, Kansas City

Johnson carried 19 times for 83 yards and caught 3 passes for 9 yards in the Chiefs' 20-9 loss to the Chargers. Kansas City is 7-7 on the season. Johnson was named to the Pro Bowl this week.

Bryan Scott, S, New Orleans

Scott had 1 tackle on special teams as the Saints fell to the Redskins, 16-10. The loss puts New Orleans at 9-5 but still with an inside track on a first round playoff bye in the NFC.

LaVar Arrington, LB, New York Giants

Arrington has been on injured reserve since late October after suffering a season ending Achilles injury.

Kareem McKenzie, T, New York Giants

McKenzie and the Giants lost their fifth game in six week with a 36-22 defeat to Philadelphia. The Giants are 7-7 and are still in the hunt for an NFC wild card spot.

Brandon Short, LB, New York Giants

Short had 2 tackles in a 36-22 loss to the Eagles that dropped the Giants to 7-7 on the season.

Jeff Hartings, C, Pittsburgh

Hartings and the Steelers improved to 7-7 with an impressive 37-3 victory over Carolina.

Jimmy Kennedy, DT, St. Louis

Kennedy had 1 tackle in a 20-0 domination of the Raiders on Sunday. The Rams are 6-8 on the season.

Bhawoh Jue, S, San Diego

Jue had a tackle on special teams in a 20-9 victory over division rival Kansas City. The Chargers are 12-2 and currently own home field advantage in the AFC.

Anthony Adams, DT, San Francisco

Adams did not see the field in the 49ers' 24-14 win over Seattle. The win put San Francisco at 6-8 and kept them alive for the NFC West title.

Michael Robinson, WR/RB, San Francisco

Robinson took a fake punt 33 yards and also had a tackle on special teams in the 49ers' 24-14 win over Seattle. San Francisco is 6-8 and still in playoff contention.

Bobby Engram, WR, Seattle

Engram played for the first time since suffering from a thyroid illness before Seattle's week 4 game but did not catch a pass in a 24-14 loss. The Seahawks are 8-6 and need to win one of their last two games to clinch the NFC West.

Alan Zemaitis, CB, Tampa Bay

Zemaitis has yet to dress for the 3-11 Buccaneers, who fell in overtime to Chicago, 34-31.

Kerry Collins, QB, Tennessee

Collins is currently backing up Titans rookie Vince Young for the suddenly resurgent Titans, who have won five in a row after a 24-17 win over the Jaguars that improved their record to 7-7 on the season.

Calvin Lowry, S, Tennessee

Lowry had a special teams tackle in the Titan's 24-17 win over Jacksonville. The win was Tennessee's fifth in a row and puts it at 7-7 on the season.

NOTES: Former Penn State tight end Matt Kranchick was signed by the Patriots last week and is currently working out on their practice squad. … Also, on Tuesday of this week the Cardinals activated PSU product John Bronson, another tight end, from their practice squad.
