Terrell played wide-receiver, outside linebacker and free safety for Lake Taylor last season.
"This year on defense I'll be playing outside linebacker full time," Terrell said.
Golden, who is primarily being recruited to play wide-receiver, claims several offers in writing.
"Penn State, Virginia Tech, Maryland, NC State and West Virginia have offered."
Tennessee and Florida State have also shown interest.
"The top 5 are Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Penn State and NC State."
Tennessee has not yet offered.
"They were going to offer me at free safety, but the offensive coach got word of my offensive ability, so he talked to the wide-receiver coach and they are going to evaluate me there also."
Golden has not yet begun the process of taking visits to prospective schools.
"I haven't visited any, but I went to the Penn State football camp. I went last year too. The campus was very nice.
"They offered me at this last camp. They didn't officially offer me in writing until a couple of weeks later, but at the camp they said they liked me a lot and told me that there was a good possibility that I could be offered."
Terrell had the chance to speak to coaches Jay Paterno, Bill Kenney and Kenny Carter.
According to Golden, Penn State is recruiting him to play wide-receiver.
He does not currently have plans to visit any of the aforementioned schools. He does, however, seem certain that he will take all 5 of his official visits. He doesn't plan to announce his decision until signing day.
"I'm not even close [to making a decision]. I'm going to go through the season and see what happens."
Distance to a prospective school is not a problem for Terrell.
"I would like to get out and travel, see the world."
